Dr. Garland Glenn is the founder and clinical director of The Carroll Institute, focusing on reversing the symptoms of Cognitive Decline including Alzheimer’s Disease.

Dr. Glenn is an international speaker with a global patient base. Recognized by his colleagues as a leader in the field of the effects of neurodegeneration on brain function, he is trained in Functional Neurology and is certified in Reversing Cognitive Decline.

Dr. Glenn graduated from Baylor University in 1979 and taught electrical engineering for several years before returning to school at the National Health Sciences University in Chicago and earning his DC degree in 1985. 

The opportunity to live and study in Europe in 1994 led him and his family to The Netherlands where he completed a Diplomate in Neurology Program at the prestigious Carrick Institute in Amsterdam.

Dr. Glenn is one of only a handful of doctors trained in both Functional Neurology and the Bredesen Protocol for Reversing Cognitive Decline. He is licensed in several states in the US as well as in the UK and has practiced internationally since the mid-1990s.

Dr. Glenn is a graduate of the Kalish Institute in Functional Medicine and is currently writing his PhD dissertation in Integrative Medicine. He’s a member of the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation. He’s working towards his Fellowship with the International Board of Functional Neurology and following the Institute for Functional Medicine’s curriculum for Board Certification.
